Jessica Granatiero, owner of The Savory Grape located in East Greenwich, a first-of-its-kind wine store in Rhode Island founded in 2006. Retail wine and spirits has been a male dominated industry. Jessica left corporate America to begin this business, a dream of hers, and now she is topping wine retailer industry-wide growth rates.
Rhode Island Monthly’s “Best of Rhode Island” 2009 Winner for Best Wine Shop, The Savory Grape is visibly different than any other store in the state. Patrons remark that the shopping experience is like visiting someone’s personal wine cellar.
Upholding its original mission, The Savory Grape is sophisticated for discerning wine lovers, yet comfortable and inviting to the wine novice who simply wishes to browse the selection and learn more about wine.
